The role of project spaces in a city still lacking in variety regarding its range of institutional spaces cannot be underestimated. TÄT on Schönhauser Allee constitutes a prime example of how a comparatively small space can fill the gap between artistic production and presentation and bring together different artist communities. Throughout the next three days TÄT will present CHARITÄT, a sale the proceeds of which will feed next year’s programme and a publication that will examine the ways in which project spaces in Berlin operate and contribute to the existing framework of contemporary art. With prices ranging from 10 to 700 euros we don’t want anybody to tell us they have no money to support the arts!
