Rahmenprogramm – Sergio Roger

In J.G. Ballard´s famous novel Crash (1973) the protagonists become sexually aroused by staging and participating in real car-crashes. Taking Ballard’s explorations as referential grounds, Sergio Rogers work depicts the photographic image of a crashed car and the slogan of 2008´s BMW commercial ” The Ultimate Attraction” where the face of a woman is covered by a magazine in which the latest BMW car model is announced while having sex with a man.
